I think you were taken for a reason.

Have you ever realized how God takes things from your life at random times? OR maybe people, from your life? This is not to punish you. But only to open for something greater. I believe there is a reason you are no longer in my life, and that would be so I can devote my whole life and my passion to the kids at PFS. Everyone of those kids is truly amazing. I know their not PFS but Zack Graeser and Dylan Fresina are two of the coolest kids i’ve ever met. Had the opportunity to play drums for HPC-St. Franny tonight, and also had the privelege of hanging with those two crazies. It is so great to see those children of God serving by doing what they love doing. Both of those kids are very talented and it’s an honor to play music with them. Tonight God really moved at Refuge in Franny. It’s so amazing cause it’s MAYBE like 20 kids, but WOW. He dfeinitely showed up and showed off. The whole point in saying all that is, I personally think it was better for me, because now I feel like I can focus my whole heart on the next generation.

And a side note…. I have the tv on in the background, and to see just some of the stuff they put on there now. South Park just happens to be on and wow, this is rediculous.

Anywho, I just had to share that blessing. Off to bed. Long week ahead.

not the best wake up call…

Hi folks. I’ll try and keep this short and simple. All this week I had planned to take off this weekend because my brother was supposed to get married today. well…… that didnt happen. So I decided to take a little time for myself and cruise on up to lafayette. Don’t get me wrong, I had lots of fun last night, but this mornings wake up call is not what I really expected. You’ve all read about my step-dad’s brother in-law battling with cancer from my previous posts. Well, he spent all last week in the hospital and the doctors were going to try and send him home today so he could just rest and stuff. Unfortunatelly, he didn’t make it. Roy Katz passed away early this morning in Our Lady of The Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge. I appreciate all of your thoughts and prayers as of now, but please, continue to pray for the rest of the family as this is a hard time for all of us. Thank you guys so much. I love you all.
